Before we start tattooing:
• Wear dark, comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting stained.
• The session will start with you approving the design I’ve created. You always have the final say—if you want any changes, I will make them until you’re satisfied, and then we’ll proceed. In some cases, I will provide options (e.g., colors, shading, or backgrounds) for you to choose from.
• Keep in mind that the finished tattoo won’t look exactly like it does on paper, as I use a different medium and it will most likely be placed on a rounded surface.
During the tattoo session:
• Do not touch the tattoo or the surrounding area at any point during the session.
• During breaks, make sure nothing comes into contact with the tattooed area. If you accidentally lean against something or graze the area, just let me know so I can clean it properly. If you need to use the restroom, I will need to wrap the tattoo in cling film first. Please let me know in advance so we can plan a break accordingly.
• You are welcome to eat and drink during breaks. A fridge and microwave are available for your use.
• If you start to feel nauseous or uncomfortable in any way, please let me know.
• For longer sessions (5+ hours), I may need to take my dog for a short walk if he is with me in the studio that day. If we are alone in the studio, I may ask you to come with me, or I will bring with me a personal item of yours as a deposit since I will be locking the studio in your care. If other artists are present, I will leave you with them.
After the session:
I will go over the aftercare instructions with you in person. You will also receive a message with a link to detailed aftercare guidelines.
