Your idea.
It’s great if you bring some reference photos to the session so we have something to start with. References can include a subject, tattoo style, or color palette (if you want color) that you like. You can also bring examples of things you definitely don’t like, to help me understand what to avoid. If you’re unsure about what to get, we can have a more general discussion about you and your vision for a tattoo—whether you want it to have a deep meaning or simply be something aesthetically pleasing. Together, we’ll find a tattoo that’s perfect for you.
Placement and size.
It’s helpful if you already have an idea of where you want the tattoo. This allows me to customize the design to fit a specific area and ensure the level of detail matches the size. However, it’s always good to stay open to adjustments, as some designs may work better depending on the placement.
Price and booking.
Once we have a clear idea of your tattoo, I’ll provide a price estimate, usually in the form of a price range. We’ll then book a time for the tattoo session. By the time of your appointment, I will have created a design for you, and you’ll have the opportunity to give feedback at the beginning of the session.
Other questions.
This is a great opportunity to ask any other questions you might have about the tattooing process. If it’s your first time—or if it’s been a while since your last tattoo—you might feel nervous or want to know more about the steps ahead. I’m happy to answer any questions to ensure you feel comfortable and excited about getting your tattoo.
